Ya boy was screen printing some booklets yesterday for a group brief. Creative commute is an interactive campaign to encourage creative students and the general public to use public transport more. The idea behind this is that there are set drawing challenges each week and people will respond to them with there illustrations. The rules are that the illustrations have to be done whilst commuting to college or work. Get involved. The new challenge is up on twitter now and the deadline is 14/03/14.
These are screen printed beermats I made for a University brief. I had to compile research in response to the word ‘Alcohol’. I then had to create a resolution to a problem I found as a result of my research. I created a solution to the problem of not knowing ‘how to brew your own home made beer’. In this case I made it specific to Bishops Castle’s Three Tuns Pale Ale Beer, as the Three Tuns Brewery, of which is the oldest licensed brewery in the UK, was used in my initial research for the project. I created a set of beermats and a set of stickers for use on pint glasses. I also mocked up a Three Tuns Brewery Home Brewing Kit as a resolution to the problem.
